2. Supplier Selection: Buyers identify and evaluate reliable suppliers or manufacturers based on quality, pricing, and delivery terms.

3. Request for Quotation (RFQ): The buyer sends inquiries or RFQs to selected suppliers, specifying product requirements.

4. Negotiation and Contract: Pricing, delivery terms, payment conditions, and other logistics are negotiated, followed by a formal purchase agreement or contract.

5. Order Placement: A purchase order (PO) is issued by the buyer to confirm the order with the selected supplier.

6. Quality Inspection and Documentation: Before shipment, quality checks and certifications (e.g., MSDS, test reports) are reviewed.

7. Shipping and Delivery: Products are transported via appropriate methods (bulk tanker, drums, etc.), often following Incoterms like FOB, CIF, or EXW.

8. Payment: Depending on terms, payment is made via Letter of Credit (L/C), TT (wire transfer), or other methods.
