Bitumen 60/70 (Positive Spot Test) from Iraq

The raw material used to produce Iraq Bitumen 60/70 is Vacuum Residue (VR), which is a dense by-product left after the distillation of heavy crude oil in refineries.

This type of bitumen has a relatively high sulfur content, indicating a lower level of purity. Additionally, it typically has a ductility of around 64 cm.

Pricing of Iraq Bitumen

Iraqi bitumen is priced more affordably than similar products from countries like Iran, Singapore, and South Korea.

While the pricing is also linked to Persian Gulf Fuel Oil — similar to the method used in Iran — the lower quality of Iraqi bitumen results in a price that is generally \$10–20 USD per ton cheaper than Iranian bitumen.
